Bliss

I obviously love, LOVE, L-O-V-E quotes!  I'm constantly inspired by peoples' lovely words and I often think, "why didn't I think of that?".  I often dig for quotes that are appropriate for certain moods, events and seasons in life in order to find just the right words. Then I found a really awesome page on Facebook of all places!  It is all about quotes and I've fallen in love.  The administrators of the page post several quotes a day accompanied by photos or graphics and I find myself saying, "OHMYGOODNESS! I needed to see this!" and go on to share their quotes on my own page.  Sometimes you just need a little reinforcement in your day or at a certain period in your life and no matter what that stage is, they've got it!  These are just a couple of my favorites because I can't possibly post them all: If you're on Facebook and are looking for some awesome daily inspiration, check out Follow Your Bliss here .  You'

A Little Tom Petty Love

One of the gifts my dad gave me (and I'm sure he has no idea) is a love for this guy: Anytime I hear Tom Petty on the radio, I can't help but smile.  There's something about his music and the way it takes me back to my dad strumming on his guitar as a kid that makes my <3 happy.  There aren't many artists of his time who can say that they've pretty much stayed away from crazy and can keep rocking!  When he played the halftime show of Superbowl XLII, I was completely awed.  Especially since most of their half time shows over the last several years have left much to be desired.  I digress....  I've never gotten to see him in concert, but I would LOVE to!  It's on my bucket list for sure! Here's a list of some of my FAVORITES of his (sorry about the quality of some of these videos): I Won't Back Down Free Fallin' American Girl You Wreck Me Learning to Fly Mary Jane's Last Dance Yer So Bad   Do you have any favorite bands that

My Nanna's garden was always special to me.  I remember being able to cut my own flowers for my bedside when I'd visit. THE beach.  Just a few blocks away from the house and a special place for all of us...  Gosh....I know it's been awhile.  Life sure does get in the way when a blog is just a hobby.  I could say I've had writer's block, but I haven't.  This little post of mine is gonna be emotional.   My family had to sell my grandparents' home this month because my grandmother is unable to live there.  She's in a great & better place where she'll get the care she needs and we're all so happy for that.  However, this house has been a staple in our family forever.  And, for some of us, I literally mean FOREVER.  I was bro
